How to import a compressed STEP file
To import a compressed STEP file format (.stpz). You will need 7-Zip or something like it.
Right-click the .stpz file, go to 7-Zip -> Open Archive.
The file shows as filename.txt, drag or save it to your desktop
Rename it to filename.stp
Import filename.stp
