How to measure around the perimeter of a part

If you want to measure around the perimeter of a part such as, for example, a Slot shape, you can use the Measurement Command's Curve Measurement option. Start the Measurement command, click Curve Measurement and Shift-Select all the part edges that you want to measure. The command will add up the combined distance of the edges and display the total value in the Curve Length field. This can be used to add up Part edges or 3D Curves.
