Multiphysics for IronCAD 2020 New Meshing Capabilities (MPIC)
Hi Partners,
As most of you know, we recently released the latest version
of Multiphysics for IronCAD 2020 (https://www.ironcad.com/blog/multiphysics-for-ironcad-2020-released/).
In conjunction with this release, we created a tech video to highlight the new
meshing capabilities found in this release. The new meshing and error logging
capability is a major leap forward in the product for CAD users looking to
analysis assemblies especially if the designs have potentially inaccuracies or
intentional gaps for manufacturing processes.
Have a look at the video to get updated on the changes and
test out some of your older problem files with the new version to test out the
improved capabilities. In our tests, we have seen many of our past files
working very smooth in the new version and helping identify areas that we
needed to address in order to fully mesh. We hope you experience the same and
are able to communicate these changes to existing customers and highlight these
to new prospects!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Note: In the video, I mentioned the system units of IronCAD
are millimeters. To correct this, they are actually Meter. Also, we are not an
expert in FEA so please forgive any communication that may not be fully
accurate in the analysis terms 😊
